Services

Using a play-based approach, Nicole supports the development of fine motor, play, cognition, self-care and social skills. Services are offered in home and community settings within the City of Boroondara, Nicole works in partnership with families to identify strengths and areas requiring further support to optimise engagement in daily life.

Assessment

Nicole provides assessment and support for children aged between 0-9 years of age and their families in the following areas:

  • Physical skills including fine and gross motor skills

  • Play and social skills

  • Sensory processing

  • Attention

  • Activity and emotional regulation

  • Self-care skills including toileting, feeding, bathing and dressing

An initial appointment may include a parent only session to allow Nicole to gather background information and set goals before she meets your child.

The initial session with your child will be play based and explore their strengths and development further. Sessions are usually for 50 minutes, with time allocated for documentation. Assessment may take more than one session and involve both visits to both home and educational settings.

Therapeutic Support

Nicole provides therapy sessions with children and their families in home and community settings to help children become more independent and skilled in their daily activities.

She values collaboration with your child’s early childhood educators to enhance your child’s participation at childcare, kindergarten or school.

Therapy sessions are typically 50 minutes with a further 10 minutes allocated for documentation
